Dumbarnie Links – 7th

Unlike other visual artists, photographers often have to contend with changing conditions they find in the field. The subtle vagrancies of the weather, for instance, can jeopardise a perfectly planned shoot which has been studiously scouted and dictated by the most accurate forecasts. The position of a single cloud casting its gloom over a location can frustrate and even halt a session. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case in this shot of Dumbarnie Links, although it was close. The setting sun was casting fantastic light across the course as a bank of clouds edged closer towards me. Thankfully, I got the shots before the lights were turned off.
