Dumbarnie Links – 16th

In golf photography, there is a balance to be struck between utilising the low-light drama of a sunset and capturing enough light to showcase the course. It seems obvious, but there is a sweet point where the colours become saturated and the undulations become pronounced. Leave it any longer and while the sky becomes emboldened with colour, the ground slowly slips into shade. This shot of the fantastic course at Dumbarnie Links manages to get that balance just right. I also think it tells the tale of the hole well.
