Streamsong – Blue Course

In 2013, I was invited to the grand opening of the Streamsong resort in Florida. I had heard a lot about the two 18-hole courses, and was determined to shoot the much-anticipated tracks following my round. The courses lived up to expectations, but unfortunately the chap in charge of the buggies was unsure about providing me with the transport I needed. As the sun was setting, I decided to lug my kit to the top of an enormous dune to gain this vantage point. The sweat was pouring off me when this image was taken, but at least I was safe in the knowledge I had reached a prime location just as the sun was beginning to set. It’s a picture that means a lot not simply because I had birdied the hole rather fortuitously earlier that day, but also as it was one of the last times I used my trusted Canon 5D before a long-overdue upgrade.
